Anti-Hunger Campaign Results

Thanks to the generous supports from many donors, sponsors, and volunteers our campaign was a huge success. We were able to:

  • Raised over $23,000 for our year-end campaign (beating our goal of $20,000)
  • Received in-kind contributions valued at over $15,000 (food, toys, and more.)
  • Thanks to The Wendy Williams Show audience members, businesses and many volunteers, we distributed over 650 toys to 20 organizations in New York and New Jersey, who work with children from families in need.
  • Hosted a “Holiday Dinner with the Hunters” and served dinner to nearly 1,000 people.

And finally, we provided $16,000 in grant contributions to sixteen organizations, seven of which were causes related to fighting hunger and operate food insecurity programs (food pantries, feeding programs, and anti-hunger programming). These organizations included:

  • America’s Grow A Row, Inc.
  • Let’s Celebrate, Jersey City, NJ
  • New Community Corporation, Newark, NJ
  • Eva’s Village, Paterson, NJ
